Our Story

It all started during the summer before high school. Because of Covid, we could only meet via Zoom. Surprisingly, we weren’t close friends at all, we just knew each other enough to carry a conversation. So, Gowri sent out a zoom link to a bunch of friends, somewhere around 12, but oddly enough, only two other people joined (Neha and Shruthi). We had some conversations, played games, talked about life in COVID, and then decided on singing together. That decision turned into our Singing Group, where we would meet every Saturday and record covers of songs. High school started and we knew there was absolutely no way to record songs every Saturday, thanks to all the homework we had. So, during one of our last meetings of the Singing group, we decided on starting a podcast, in hopes that we could still meet and be “productive”.  Funny enough, we called ourselves “A High Schooler’s Life”, but thankfully we changed it to “Relatable”, because we wanted to create a space for teens to feel like they are not alone.

 

Three years later, we’ve published our 23rd episode, and we can’t be more grateful for all of our listeners and supporters! Thank you all so much for the support… we wouldn’t be Relatable without you!! Enough with the sentiment… go listen to our latest episode!!
